Project Description – “Investments at ALWO THERM SRL”

ALWO THERM SRL, as Beneficiary of Financing Contract no. 198/15.04.2025, signed on 17 April 2025 and concluded with MA_PRSM – the South-Muntenia Regional Development Agency (ADR Sud-Muntenia), is implementing the project entitled “Investments at ALWO THERM SRL”, SMIS Code 324392, between April 2025 and March 2027 at its working point in Nucetu Village, Lupșanu Commune, Călărași County.

The project is financed through the South-Muntenia Regional Programme 2021–2027, Priority P1 – A competitive region through innovation, digitalisation and dynamic enterprises; Specific Objective RSO 1.3 – Enhancing sustainable growth and the competitiveness of SMEs and job creation in SMEs, including through productive investments (ERDF); Call PRSM/267/PRSM_P1/OP1/RSO1.3/PRSM_A44.

Project purpose / objective: to enhance the sustainable growth and competitiveness of ALWO THERM SRL and to create jobs, including through productive investments, thereby supporting smart, sustainable and balanced economic growth in the South-Muntenia region.

Specific objectives: OS1 – Enhancing the sustainable growth and competitiveness of ALWO THERM SRL through an initial investment to expand the capacity of the existing unit in Nucetu Village, Lupșanu Commune, Călărași County. The investment increases the production volume of at least one manufactured product without fundamentally changing the overall production process, specifically by increasing the capacity to manufacture industrial ventilation and contaminated-air filtration equipment under CAEN Code 2825 – Manufacture of non-domestic cooling and ventilation equipment. OS2 – Creating one new full-time, open-ended position at ALWO THERM SRL to meet the staffing needs of the working point by the end of project implementation and maintaining it throughout the project sustainability period.

Expected results: R1 – Increased production capacity for industrial ventilation and contaminated-air filtration equipment under CAEN Code 2825 – Manufacture of non-domestic cooling and ventilation equipment. R2 – At least one new full-time, open-ended position created at the working point by the end of project implementation and maintained throughout the project sustainability period.

Total project budget: EUR 605,179.74, comprising an EU contribution of EUR 279,177.73, a national-budget contribution of EUR 49,266.66 and a beneficiary contribution of EUR 164,222.19. The project also includes EUR 112,513.15 in non-eligible expenditure, including non-eligible VAT.
