ALWO roller conveyors move crates, pallets, frames and other loads with a suitable supporting surface. They can be integrated into assembly, distribution and finishing lines, with dimensions tailored to the product and process flow.
Gravity rollers allow manual or gravity-assisted movement. Controlled-flow options include chain-driven powered rollers, a roller turntable and a rail-mounted lateral transfer carriage. A correctly engineered system reduces intermediate handling without assuming that it can replace every lifting device.
Safety: pinch points between rollers, the chain transmission and moving assemblies require guarding. Powered configurations include emergency stops and interlocks based on the risk assessment.
