ALWO participated in BIFE-SIM 2023 at Romexpo from 21 to 24 September 2023. The original announcement invited woodworking and furniture-industry visitors to Pavilion B2, Stand 20.
Industrial-air discussions at the event
The exhibition provided an opportunity to meet customers and partners and discuss extraction systems manufactured for Romanian industry. Topics included capture of chips and dust at woodworking machines, central duct networks, filtration, material discharge and safe return or replacement of air.
ALWO also presented its complete project approach: site assessment, engineering, customised manufacturing, delivery, installation, commissioning and operator instruction. The solution for each factory depends on machine layout, simultaneous use, material, required airflow and applicable risk controls.
Why woodworking extraction is process-specific
Coarse chips, fine sanding dust and mixed particle streams require different capture and separation strategies. Duct velocity must limit deposits, filters must match the dust load and collection equipment must be accessible for safe emptying and maintenance. Combustible wood dust requires a dedicated assessment.
