Industrial ventilation controls heat, vapours, fume and residual airborne contamination that cannot be managed by source extraction alone. The system must supply and remove air in a controlled way, without undermining local capture or creating uncomfortable draughts.
Tower filters for suitable indoor applications
Compact Tower units combine a filter section, automatic cleaning, fan and control panel. They can reduce suspended fine dust or fume in applications where room recirculation is technically and legally suitable. Source capture remains the preferred control for concentrated emissions.
CTA air-handling units
CTA units provide replacement and conditioned air for industrial spaces. Modular sections can include filtration and heating or cooling according to the project. Air volume, external pressure, thermal duty and control strategy are selected from the building and process requirements.
Heat-recovery air handling
A heat-recovery configuration can transfer useful energy between exhaust and incoming air streams where contaminant characteristics permit it. Separation between air paths, frost protection, access for cleaning and control of the heating sections are considered during engineering.
Ventilation ductwork
ALWO manufactures galvanised-steel and stainless-steel ductwork and special fittings. Material, thickness, joints, supports and access points follow the airflow, contaminant, corrosion conditions and maintenance plan.
From design to commissioning
A complete project may include consulting, engineering, manufacturing, delivery, installation, commissioning and operator instruction. Airflow and pressure readings recorded at handover create a useful reference for future maintenance.
