ALWO EFPJ Compact Pulse-Jet Bag Filters

ALWO EFPJ compact filters are integrated units for capturing dry dust generated by sanding, milling and other industrial processes. The equipment is configured for the application and combines a bag filter, fan, electrical panel and material collection in metal containers.

Automatic pulse-jet cleaning

The filter bags are cleaned by compressed-air pulses, which release the dust layer from the filter surface and direct it towards the collection containers. The system requires a compressed-air supply sized for the cleaning cycle.

The unit is delivered assembled, and casters make positioning in the workshop easier. Depending on the project and environmental conditions, the filter can be installed indoors or outdoors.

Filtered-air recirculation

Returning filtered air to the workplace can reduce heat loss during cold weather, but is permitted only when the contaminant, filtration efficiency, air-quality monitoring and applicable regulations allow it. The decision requires a risk assessment; air must not be automatically recirculated for every type of dust, fume, vapour or hazardous substance.

The model is selected according to the required airflow, dust properties and concentration, operating pattern and installation location. For combustible dust, the equipment and material discharge are selected on the basis of a fire and explosion risk assessment.
