Woodworking and furniture production generate chips, sawdust and fine dust during cutting, routing, sanding and finishing. ALWO systems capture this material at machines, transport it through the duct network and separate it in equipment selected for the operating pattern.
Machine and finishing-area capture
Machine connections and hoods are designed around the emission path. Sanding requires effective fine-dust capture, while coating areas may use dry-filter or water-wash extraction walls, controlled supply air and suitable treatment for vapours.
Material storage and discharge
Metal silos can store suitable dry bulk material collected from production. Diameter, geometry, extraction equipment, access, level monitoring and fire protection are engineered from material properties and required capacity. Conveyors and rotary valves connect the filter, silo and downstream process.
Mechanical-shaker filters
SFM filters suit selected operations that allow cleaning cycles during production pauses. A mechanical shaker removes dust from the filter sleeves, while an automatic discharge arrangement can move collected material from the hopper.
Pulse-jet filters
SFPJ filters use compressed-air pulses to clean filter sleeves during operation and are suited to continuous applications when correctly selected. Differential pressure, compressed-air condition and discharge equipment are monitored to maintain performance.
Combustible wood dust
Wood dust requires a dedicated fire and explosion risk assessment. Equipment location, isolation, detection, venting or suppression and safe material handling must follow the applicable assessment and standards.
