Cleaner industrial air is achieved by controlling emissions where they are generated. Dust, fume, mist, overspray and vapours require different capture and treatment, but all benefit from a system designed around the process and maintained through measurable operating data.
How industrial air contamination affects operations
Airborne material can enter the breathing zone, settle on machines and products, load building ventilation and increase cleaning. The effect depends on contaminant properties, concentration and exposure conditions.
Source capture first
Machine connections, arms, hoods, benches and enclosures intercept emissions before they disperse. General ventilation provides replacement air and manages residual heat but does not replace local control at concentrated sources.
Equipment for cleaner air
- cyclones and separators for coarse or heavy material;
- bag and cartridge filters for suitable dry dust and fume;
- mist and coalescing equipment for liquid aerosol;
- paint filters and water-based capture for appropriate finishing operations;
- scrubbers or compound-specific stages where the pollutant requires them;
- fans, ducting and controls selected for the complete network.
Solutions across industrial sectors
ALWO equipment supports woodworking, metalworking, automotive, food, pharmaceutical, textile, recycling, shipbuilding, construction and surface-finishing applications. The treatment technology changes with each process.
Maintenance and verification
Filter pressure, capture airflow, fan condition, duct integrity and material discharge are monitored so that performance does not decline unnoticed. A risk assessment defines any fire, explosion or chemical controls.
