Surface preparation and finishing lines combine abrasive cleaning, sanding, coating, drying and material transfer. Extraction, filtration and ventilation must be integrated with the sequence so that dust from preparation does not contaminate clean finishing stages.
Complex blasting lines
A blasting system may include an enclosed cabin, abrasive recovery, separation, transport and dust filtration. The capture network contains abrasive particles and keeps recovery material separate from unsuitable waste.
Automated installations
Conveyors, interlocks and controls coordinate part movement with extraction and filter operation. The line should prevent a process from running without the required airflow and provide access for cleaning and wear inspection.
Preparation and finishing equipment
- downdraft benches and extraction walls for sanding or grinding;
- blasting cabins and abrasive recovery equipment;
- dry or water-curtain extraction for suitable coating applications;
- pressurised paint-shop enclosures and filtered make-up air;
- Paint Stop and labyrinth overspray filters;
- hot-air and air-handling equipment for process conditions.
Abrasive recovery
Automatic recovery can collect and separate reusable abrasive from fines, subject to material and process suitability. Conveying and filtration are designed for wear and continuous dust load.
Custom process integration
Part dimensions, finish specification, throughput, coating data and available space define the layout. Preparation and paint emissions may require separate treatment circuits.
