ALWO CFC Cyclonic Cartridge Dust Collector

The ALWO CFC cyclonic cartridge dust collector combines cyclonic pre-separation and fine filtration inside a sealed cylindrical steel casing designed for negative-pressure operation. It is intended for industrial extraction of dry dust when the material and operating conditions are compatible with cartridge filtration.

Dust-laden air enters the conical lower section, where the cyclonic motion separates part of the heavier particulate. Fine particles are then captured on the cartridge surfaces. This combined process can reduce the direct dust load on the filter media compared with filtration without pre-separation.

Pulse-jet regeneration

Dust accumulated on the cartridges is removed periodically by compressed-air pulses. An electronic controller operates the diaphragm solenoid valves in sequence, helping control pressure drop during operation. The compressed-air supply pressure is 3–5 bar.

Range and selection

The CFC range shown provides filter areas from 80 to 300 m² and nominal airflow from 4,500 to 18,000 m³/h. Model selection is based on airflow, dust type and concentration, air temperature, pressure losses and operating schedule.

Cartridge media, dust-discharge equipment and accessories are selected for each application. Combustible dust requires a dedicated risk assessment, hazardous-area classification and appropriate protection measures; the standard configuration must not be assumed to be ATEX compliant.
