Rotary Valves are indispensable equipment in the field of air filtration, fulfilling two very important roles: sealing the equipment and regulating the flow rate of the material. They are also used in pneumatic conveying where the systems operate under pressure, and the transported material is impossible to discharge through an open port.
ALWO rotary valves are manufactured with precision and limited tolerances, minimizing air leaks in installations. They are generally made of galvanized steel sheet, but they can also be made of stainless steel for the food industry.
