Ventilation Panels for Explosion Control

Applications: ATEX certified ventilation panels are designed in order to minimize the deterioration of filters, silos, various processing vessels, pipelines and other industrial products subject to the risk of explosion involving combustible materials.

Types

Rectangular Dome – Rectangular dome-style ventilation panels are designed for high vacuum and high cycling applications, such as dust collectors and bag filters. The panels are made of stainless steel and their dome design offers long-term durability and resistance to negative pressure. The panel’s peak pressure damping device allows operation at up to 70% of the nominal pressure, and standard features include integrated flange gaskets.

Rectangular Flat – Rectangular flat-style ventilation panels are made of stainless steel and offer long-term durability and aerodynamic advantages over dome ventilation panels, especially when used in cyclones or other similar equipment. The peak pressure damping device and the cross ribs allow operation with up to 50% of the nominal pressure value and standard features include folded edges and integrated flange gaskets. The flat rectangular panel is an excellent alternative to the dome ventilation panels when the negative pressure does not exceed 50% of the nominal burst pressure value.

Round Dome – Round Dome-style ventilation panels are designed for use on cylindrical pipes and vessels. The round dome panels are made of stainless steel and its dome design offers long-term durability and resistance to negative pressure, without the need for additional vacuum supports. The peak pressure damping device allows operation at up to 70% of the nominal pressure, and standard features include integrated flange gaskets.

Curved – Curved ventilation panels are made of stainless steel and are designed to be installed on the curved walls of cyclones, silos and other similar process vessels. Curved ventilation offers aerodynamic advantages over flat and dome panels when the negative pressure does not exceed 50% of the nominal pressure.
