Storage Bunkers with Hydraulic Extraction using Scrapers

This type of material storage bunker is parallelepipedal in shape and consists of a chamber constructed either on a metal structure or with masonry. At the bottom of this type of bunker, a system is installed that allows for the automatic evacuation of stored material, for the automatic feeding of a thermal power plant or other equipment that requires stored material.

We will refer to this type of material extraction as “Hydraulic Extractors with Scrapers.” These are mounted on the floors of masonry bunkers and are designed for extracting high-density material (e.g., wet and non-homogeneous biomass) at low temperatures and in the presence of larger pieces (80x80x80mm), including stones. They come equipped with scraper extractors mounted on guiding rails with anti-wear shoes, operated by 2 hydraulic force cylinders. The material is brought by the scrapers into a collector screw that unloads it at one end of the bunker. The extractor is controlled by an electrical panel with a PLC for efficient programming according to customer requirements. All moving components: scrapers and screw, have continuously adjustable speeds (via valves and converters). Extractors of this type are simple, efficient, and highly reliable.

At the end of the bunker, depending on the material type, a sorting system can be installed, presented as an accessory to the bunkers. From there, the material can be mechanically handled (with a screw or a redler conveyor) or pneumatically transported.
