Screw Conveyors

Screw conveyors, also known as auger conveyors, are the most commonly used bulk material transportation equipment, with a wide range of applications.

Although their operating principle is the same across all industries, screw conveyors are manufactured according to specific applications and material characteristics. They can transport dry, wet, and materials of various granulations or hardness in bulk.

They can be made from steel or stainless steel when the application demands it, and the helix inside can also be made from various materials, with or without a central shaft. The helix pitch is chosen based on the application. The construction of the casing can be tubular, open, or semi-cylindrical with covers. Due to their simple operating principle, screw conveyors do not require expensive or difficult maintenance.
