VCF Model Vertical Cartridge Filters

Our VCF Model Cartridge Filters are built with vertical filtering elements, hermetically sealed in a metal housing, designed and executed for working with negative pressure.

Functional description:

Air loaded with pollutants enter the lower tank of the filter, where a decantation process takes place due to loss in speed. The lower mass particles will stick to the surface of the filtering elements. The progressive deposits of these pollutants ought to be removed periodically in order to ensure the proper function of the filter. Compressed air jet (the pulse jet system) is used in order to remove these deposits. Command of the air jets is automatically accomplished by an electrical software which controls the membrane solenoid valves.

The recommended pressure of the compressed air is between 3-5 bar. This type of automatic filter maintenance and regeneration is very efficient and reliable, maintaining constant pressure losses throughout the lifetime of the filter. The standard cartridges which come with the filter are built out of 270 g/sqm polyester, BIA certified and GSU tested.
