Water Veil Spray Booths

The ALWO W Spray Booth has a simple operating principle: Negative pressure is created through a fan mounted either on top or to the side of the booth, which forces the air to flow from the spraying area to the ejection outlet. While this transit occurs, the booth’s water veil retains the solid pigments from the paint.

Three subsequent washings with water and a further dry filtration ensures the retention of pigments in suspension which, when mixed with water, get stored in the collection vessel. The submersible pump circulates water and helps form the water veils. The first retention of pigments takes place through the front water veil; the remaining part of the pigments is forced to pass through the internal water veil and a partially complete cleaning takes place before the air crosses to the dry filters for the complete cleaning.
