Scrubber Filter ALWO SCRM

This type of ALWO filter is used in production processes which generate water-insoluble dust (metals, composites, resins) or produce incandescent particles capable to provoke fires or explosions in dry filters.

The dust collection takes place at the bottom of the water tank, and the solid particles are extracted with the help of some drawers, easy to handle and clean.

The scrubber filter consists of two main elements:
• Upper zone – composed of a centrifugal fan and a clean air area (released back into the workshop);
• Lower zone – consisting of the separation area, where the air loaded with particles will pass through multiple water curtains.

The dust-laden air, absorbed by a mid-pressure centrifugal fan, passes through the water curtains retention zone, where there is an acceleration of speed. In this process of air purification, solid particles are captured in the water tank, at the bottom.
